About the Project

Starting fall 2023, we are taking over middle school hallways with the Science Lives Here! pop-up exhibit featuring posters of diverse STEM professionals in metro Atlanta. Each poster links back to a profile, video, and career story on our website. Participating schools receive a cash award to fund STEM initiatives at their school and a visit from one of the featured STEM professionals. The project’s goal is to foster hometown pride in Atlanta as a Science City, and to cultivate a sense of belonging in science through representation of historically underrepresented groups in STEM.
