• Science ATL LABS: Physics

Get down and dirt-y with Science ATL! Students and their chaperone will work collaboratively through a series of experiments led by Professor of Physics Eric Weeks and Graduate Student David Meer. A single grain of sand is solid, but did you know you can fill a bucket with sand like a liquid? The fluid-like properties of granular substances can do anything from secure your house in concrete to season your food! Explore your inquisitive side and think about the states of matter, all while engaging in the physics of granular materials. This is the most Rock ‘n Roll Science you’ll have ever experienced!

Ticket includes admission for one student + their one chaperone (adult 18 or older). To ensure safety of all participants: only students 6th grade and older will be permitted to attend; All students must be accompanied by a chaperone; One student + one chaperone per ticket. Please register the parent, and add the student as an attendee.
