• Earth Day Bike In Movie

Celebrate Earth Day, the Science ATL way. Science ATL and Piedmont Park Conservancy host a special showing of Where the Butterflies Go, a comedic nature documentary about the journey of the monarch butterfly.

This isn’t any outdoor movie, its a Bike-in movie! Take your two-wheel transportation to Piedmont Park’s Dockside, have a drink and a laugh, and deepen your connection to the monarch butterfly.
Before the movie, we'll chat with Evolutionary Biologist, Jaap de Roode about butterflies and conservation.
Move is picnic style on the Dockside lawn in Piedmont Park. Bring your own blanket or chair; beer and wine available for purchase.

Movie synopsis: In a pathetic attempt to host his own children’s nature show, a failing filmmaker travels 3,000 miles asking North Americans how to save the endangered monarch butterfly, and ourselves, from extinction.
