Science ATL Takes Flight

A Family Summer Book Club

It’s summer time again! That means more time relaxing, exploring, and letting your imagination take flight with books! And we’re here to help with our Summer Book Club. This year, we’re taking to the skies with Science ATL Takes Flight as our theme. We’ve got books for all ages, so your whole family can read together and discover birds, bats, butterflies, airplanes, rockets, and more! By registering for our family book club, you will receive our book club guide filled with activities, discussion questions, and additional content to explore. As a bonus, we’ll have a handful of flight-themed events throughout the summer. Register today!

Check out our book list, register for the book club, and sign up to join our summer events!

Avian Explorers

July 18

This summer, join our birding walk as we head out in search of feathered friends! We’ll use binoculars and field guides (bring your own if you have them) to help us observe and identify a variety of local birds.

Get ready to look up, listen closely, and discover the incredible diversity of birds all around us!

Summer Book List

We’ve pulled together an exciting list of books for every member of the family – whether you are a family of 2, 5 or 10, or even just flying solo! No need to read them all, but if you are a super-reader, go to town! Snag whatever books you are interested in from your local public library! And don’t forget to register for the book club so you get our reading guide! We’ll have discussion prompts and resources for every reader to be able to contribute to the conversation around books!
