Do you know where bats go during the daytime? Or where exactly a squirrel rests when it’s not scurrying through the canopy? As the next installment of Trees Atlanta’s Family Fun series, “Who Lives in a Tree?” is tailor-made to answer just these sorts of questions! A guided learning exploration of urban wildlife and its various habitats, it is offered to families with children between the ages of 3 and 8. Viewers will embark on a virtual adventure through the Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill, learning about the food forest’s history, plant life, and its many critters and critter homes along the way.
This will be a pre-recorded tour for families to watch from the comfort of their own homes at their leisure. Once registered, families will be scheduled to receive a link to the virtual tour at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 17. The video will be available on-demand, allowing families to watch the tour at a time that fits their schedules. However, a Trees Atlanta educator will be available to answer any questions that families may have about our forest critters between 10:00-11:00 AM.
