Join us on the library’s front lawn to dig for bones, skulls, antlers, shells, jewels, and more! Sonya Wood Mahler from The Garden School of Marietta will lead the dig. We will learn what an archaeologist does to piece together the past from what is found underground. We’ll provide the shovels and rakes. We’ll rinse and record whatever we find and give it to the archaeology museum. And we’ll hear the story of Digger Dog, the dog who loved to dig up bones! Best for ages 5 and up but younger siblings are welcome to tag along. No registration required! **Limited digging supplies will be provided, but please bring a sand shovel or small hand trowel to share with a friend!
