Entrepreneur Bukola Somide will join Black Girls CODE for a candid chat about her career as a Black woman in tech and the importance of nurturing a STEM identity at a young age. Bukola is a loving mom, Software Engineer, Project Management Professional, Author, Inventor, and Founder of Innovant Technologies LLC. Bukola is currently best known for inventing the first-ever interactive computer science educational doll. She’s also the author of Somi the Computer Scientist: Princess Can Code storybook and has created an array of computer science activity books for children.
