Computer Science Week kicks off on December 7th! Black Girls CODE will host a 4-day long introductory computational thinking workshop designed to bridge the gap between those interested in computer science and beginner coders looking for a fun and facilitated coding experience using Python. Students will receive a guided introduction to programming concepts ranging from procedural decomposition, to functions, conditionals and basic data structures. Students will also get the chance to hear from a diverse panel of women in STEM, meet like-minded peers, and learn about careers in the field of computer science during this virtual experience.
