Bike Tour: Hidden Greenspaces on the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail

February 27 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

- Free

Join us for our first bike tour of the year! You will be touring the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail with Trees Atlanta’s Elijah Belz. Hidden in plain sight is an Arboretum, Atlanta’s own public botanical garden designed to demonstrate various ecosystems, such as the Longleaf Pine Savanna and Bog Garden; feature native woody plants, such as our Native Azaleas collection; and showcase the wide variety of native trees from the Southeast.

The ride will start at Washington Park and make its way down the trail to University Ave and back, stopping for interpretive dialog at notable greenspaces along the trail. Please bring your own bike, bicycles will not be provided. Safety gear (helmet) is recommended.

Meet at the BeltLine trailhead near Washington Park. The closest address is 1125 Lena St NW.
