This online workshop addresses neighborhood ecosystems and their holistic management for a better quality of life. The interconnected and nested layers of soil and water, insects and wildlife, and trees and atmosphere in a community will be highlighted. Educators from the University of Georgia trained in entomology, community forest ecology, urban forest management, landscape architecture, and wildlife, fisheries, and water management will present a suite of six presentations which will help participants better design and manage their own greenscapes and community green infrastructure following a sustainable ecological approach.
