A Hands-on Opportunity to Learn Successful Moss Planting Methods
Experience the magic of transforming tree stumps into works of art with mosses. This hands-on outdoor workshop will be lead by Annie Martin at the unique Stumpery Garden, located on the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum – Eastside Trail in Reynoldstown. Martin is also known as Mossin’ Annie and is a leading moss landscape designer, author, farmer, and much more. Mossin’ Annie will provide an instructional training demonstration emphasizing practical planting methods for long-term success in shady areas like Trees Atlanta’s Stumpery Garden.
Participant engagement and hands-on experiential learning will be emphasized as Martin guides teams throughout the creative process. Martin shares tips on how to select appropriate mosses and techniques to plant them in your own garden. Spend the day at this informative and fun event. You’ll have a “mossin’” good time!
