Want to become a DeKalb Junior Ranger? Come get started on this adventure with Ranger Jonah!
About this event:
DeKalb’s Junior Ranger program is open to all kids and you can get started at this special event with Ranger Jonah. As we explore the plant and animal life at Mason Mill Park, we will complete 6 of the 12 Junior Ranger activities. We will walk 1-2 miles, so wear appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, and bring water and a snack. All participants will receive a Junior Ranger activity book and the opportunity to earn an official badge. Even if you already have earned your DeKalb Junior Ranger badge, you are invited on this adventure. Meet at the South Peachtree Creek trailhead near the Mason Mill Tennis Center (McConnell Dr & Mason Mill Rd). This program is open to up to 15 kids (plus their adults).
