This hands-on architectural design workshop is hosted by MODA and presented by Katya Kouznetsova and Dima Alekseev of the Contemporary Art & Architecture Lab (Start with Art: Art Studio).
In this workshop, participants will:

Learn about leading architects, influential artists, and designers of the 20th and 21st century

Learn how to sketch and design like an architect

Refine their understanding of sustainable design and architecture and its impact on citizens and the environment

Discuss how to introduce nature back into our buildings
Then, we will collaborate to create a prototype of a Futuristic Skyscraper from cardboard units. Each participant will leave the workshop with their own personally designed cardboard unit.
No experience necessary. All materials and museum admission included.
Accompanying caregivers are invited to enjoy our exhibition Survival Architecture or find a place to sit down and catch up on email or other things.
