Teen Jam- Period Problems: How Might We De-Stigmatize Menstrual Health?

December 6, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

‌It’s uncomfy, it’s messy, and nobody wants to talk about it.

But periods are a central part of life and shouldn’t be stigmatized — so how can we normalize menstrual health?

Teens who join this online design workshop will collaborate with members of the organization Wish for WASH to participate in a human-centered and empathic design process. Join us and design ways to solve period problems using approaches like social entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, gender equality, and more.

During the workshop, participants will work in teams to generate ideas, draw and sketch, and build quick prototypes.

This workshop has the potential to lead to longer-term projects with designers and engineers from Wish for WASH  who are working to bring innovation to sanitation through culturally-specific research, design, and education. Learn more www.wishforwash.com
