Teen Jam: Nature’s Toolbox with Louisa Ulrich-Verderber

The natural world is incredibly complex with millions of diverse solutions created over 3.8 billion years. But, there are only a few defining principles behind all that complexity.

This session of Teen Jam will share the 10 Unifying Principles, the most common rules behind natural engineering and design, and how they can be useful to scientists, engineers, designers, and individuals who want to build a more sustainable future.

 

About the host:

Louisa Ulrich-Verderber is an engineer and artist, who, in early life realized that biomimicry was the best way to solve problems with ingenuity and elegant simplicity.
