Soil Festival 2023 at Maddox Park

May 6 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Reconnect with where your food comes from and experience Atlanta’s local food movement at the 8th annual Soil Festival hosted by Food Well Alliance and WABE! The Garden’s own Moe Hemmings and Brandon Brones will be featured speakers for the event.

Soil Festival is an annual spring tradition connecting people with where their food comes from and celebrating soil as the key source for building a strong local food system. In 2023, we’re creating a fun, family-friendly event where attendees of all ages can gather to experience an urban farm. Attendees will enjoy delicious food sourced from local vendors, learn about the importance of healthy soil, and engage in cooking demos, kids’ activities, workshops on composting and gardening, and more!
