Earth Guardians MODA seeks to empower the youth of Atlanta (and beyond!) through conversation, education, and activism. Youth of all ages are welcome!
As a part of Earth Guardians MODA, you will learn about and discuss many of today’s social, political, and environmental issues and how they affect yourself and the world around you.
Topics will include:

Environmental and social justice

Immigration

Gun violence and prison reform

“Invisible” populations
Our crew will meet virtually every other Saturday at 2pm. Attend as many meetings as you like! We’ll be learning about specific issues and how they tie into a larger set of global and systemic problems. Not only will we discuss the issues themselves, we’ll also design ways to assist in halting these issues and preventing their spread.
As part of Earth Guardians — which is a global youth initiative — our crewmembers will be able to aid in launching grass-roots campaigns to combat trends, habits and systems that threaten the youth of the world like never before. Crew members will have access to informational databases, a collection of films and talks from guest speakers, the EarthTracks app, and discussion boards with other Earth Guardians from around the world!
