Family Fun: Exploring the Art of Nature

May 14 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Enjoy a great family art series and we will be exploring textures of nature and the urban forest and putting what we learned into practice in our nature inspired art studio stations. Curiosity, creativity and free play at its finest! Each full session will include a story time and art free play. Also offered on May 21 and 26.

Event is in collaboration with: City of Atlanta, Trees Atlanta, and The Happy Black Parent

Additional Information:

  • Recommended Ages: Though all families are welcome, this series is especially appropriate for families with elementary school aged students.
  • Getting Here: Bike racks are located at the front of our building. We are approximately 1 mile from the Oakland City and West End MARTA train stations (Red and Gold Lines) Limited number of parking spaces are available at our location in addition to limited street parking.
  • Registration: Not required for this free, drop-in program (thanks to the the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs.)
