This virtual LEGO Studio for ages 8-14 will take place on Tuesday, November 2, from 4:30-6:00 PM EST.
Are you an aspiring Lego Master? Do you have a passion for aviation? Have you ever wondered how designers and engineers went from building paper kites to constructing super sonic jets?
Join us for this session, during which we will explore the history of aircraft design as well as learn about one of history’s most outstanding aviators. Along the way, we’ll build Lego replicas of the Wright Brothers’ “Kitty Hawk Flyer!” Put on your goggles and pack a parachute; calling all Lego Aces!
This workshop strengthens creativity & ideation skills, teaches design thinking and provides an entertaining angle on world history!
Along the way, we’ll explore re-creations of day to day life in this society that others have assembled, while learning about the art, culture, and built environments created by the citizens of this civilization.
All you’ll need for this studio is a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection, and any LEGO you have. No specific sets or bricks are necessary.
Don’t have LEGO but still want to join in on the fun? No worries! Below are two links to programs which allow you to build with virtual “LEGO.”
