How do NASA engineers and designers think and what problems are they trying to solve right now?
Those are the questions we’ll take on in this virtual workshop led by a MODA educator.
We’ll learn how lunar landings work and talk about the ways that robots help us with space exploration.
We’ll also talk about some of the challenges facing NASA engineers and designers now and try our hand at solving them.
Along the way, students will get to use familiar tools, LEGO, to think big and solve engineering problems.
You’ll need any LEGO sets you have! No LEGO? No problem! You can use any crafting or building materials you have on hand or join in using TinkerCAD or Virtual LEGO.
