Beyond the birds: Avian Influenza and its Larger Effects

Join experts from UGA and Ducks Unlimited for a deep dive into the data surrounding avian flu and its effects on the wild bird population—and beyond. This event features Karen Waldrop, chief conservation officer for Ducks Unlimited, along with David Stallknecht, director emeritus of the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study. Each will examine the effects of this health crisis, which goes beyond wild birds and into other areas of public health.
